2nd stage of 2019 Trans-Himalaya International Extreme Cycling Race kicks off

    The second stage of the 2nd Trans-Himalaya International Extreme Cycling Race was kicked off in Lhoka city of Tibet Autonomous Region on the morning of October 9, 2019. VTIBET.com reported. 

     

    According to Bicycle Race Organizing Committee, contestants raced about 160 kilometers in this game. Players set out from Lhoka Municipal Stadium to Leu Bridge by way of Tsetang Yarlung Bridge, Tsetang-Kongpo Highway, Nyethang county, Doylung Dechen district and so forth. The whole racing track included highway section, grassland, forest and cross-country section, etc. Furthermore, the organizing committee thoughtfully arranged several medical vehicle to guarantee players safety because of the high altitude. 

     

    After a fierce competition, Niu Yikui from Heilongjiang Team won the second stage race championship, cyclist Wang Qiang got the second place of the race, and Liu Jiankun became the third winner.
